Maternity Reflexology

Maternity Reflexology

Maternity Reflexology can help restore balance in most of the cases, treating conditions symptomatically, alleviating and stimulating.

What are the benefits?

Reflexology is one of the most popular complementary therapies used by women during pregnancy because it improves general well-being and vitality. It induces a deep state of relaxation so that your body can adjust to the major changes which are taking place, and it can help to ease or prevent many of the discomforts and ailments which are commonly associated with pregnancy. Trials have found that those receiving regular treatments during their pregnancy tend to deliver closer to term and have shorter labours.

Reflexology can also be extremely beneficial after the birth, as it helps the woman’s body to rebalance and harmonise, and to restore to a non-pregnant state. Because it is such a relaxing treatment, it helps to reduce anxieties and tensions in the mother, which can only be beneficial to the newborn baby.

Reflexology for babies and children is also popular to ease common illnesses (constipation, colds) and keep them healthy and happy.

Treatments after 3 months one hour session £45.

It is always strongly advised to talk to your midwife/GP before having a treatment.
